The Lead Product Manager, Ad Platform Experience will shape the next evolution of the Kroger Ad Platform (KAP) - with a focus on building intuitive, scalable, and impactful advertiser experiences. This role sits at the intersection of technology, design, and media, leading the development of user-centric workflows that enable advertisers to seamlessly plan, activate, optimize, and measure campaigns across Owned & Operated, Offsite, In-Store, and Emerging Media channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Discovery & Solution Design
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders & team to define experience-led product requirements rooted in user needs, technical feasibility & business value.
- Conduct research and gather user feedback to improve usability and adoption.
- Map advertiser workflows, identify opportunities and design scalable solutions across campaign management, targeting, delivery & reporting.
Roadmap Execution & Delivery
- Translate product strategies into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria & delivery milestones
- Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement & sprint reviews in close partnership with Engineering
- Track delivery progress, resolve blockers, and keep stakeholders informed with timely updates.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Design, Engineering, Activation, and other Product teams to create frictionless, consistent advertiser experiences across our self-serve and managed service workflows.
- Work closely with Platform, Data, & Measurement teams to integrate shared capabilities in a modular, reusable way.
- Support go-to-market enablement in partnership with Strategy, Operations & Commercial teams.
Measure & Optimize
- Define success metrics that reflect platform usability, user adoption & business impact
- Use platform analytics, VOC, and performance data to prioritize enhancements & inform roadmap evolution
- Iterate on launched features to improve satisfaction, efficiency & ROI
SCOPE OF IMPACT:
Team-Level
- Lead the development, championing & prioritization of the team backlog based on business goals, user needs & technical feasibility
- Drive sprint-level execution through actionable epics, stories & clear prioritization
- Facilitate team rituals like backlog refinement, sprint planning & retrospectives to support continuous improvement
- Balance delivery of net-new features, technical debt reduction, and experience enhancements
- Develop & evangelize a cohesive product vision, strategy & roadmap for the Ad Platform Experience
- Ensure consistent, scalable user flows across self-serve, managed service, and external API entry points
- Deeply understand advertiser journeys to identify opportunities for adoption, satisfaction, and operational efficiency
- Use KPIs, VOC & product analytics to continuously refine the roadmap and inform long-term investments
- Champion a broader program strategy that connects experiences across all media types (O&O, Offsite, In-Store, Emerging)
- Ensure product investments ladder up to a unified platform vision that advances usability, monetization & scale
- Act as a cross-functional integrator, aligning roadmaps, surfacing dependencies & ensuring coordinated execution
- Clearly articulate the value & ROI of your work to leadership, connecting delivery to broader business goals
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within AdTech, MarTech, SaaS, or digital platform environments
- Proven ability to deliver clean, scalable, user-centric product experiences that solve real customer problems
- Comfortable mapping complex workflows and writing clear, actionable acceptance criteria
- Strong communicator with the ability to build trust across stakeholders and balance near-term delivery with long-term vision
- Skilled in managing business priorities while advocating for design & user needs across the product lifecycle
- Exceptional verbal & written communication skills with the ability to translate between business and technical audiences
- Solid technical acumen - able to grasp system-level architecture and guide decisions across cross-functional teams
- Thrives in ambiguous environments, remaining confident, resourceful & resilient through change and complexity
- Demonstrated success delivering user-facing platform or B2B product experiences
- Familiarity with media buying platforms (e.g., DSPs, ad servers, analytics tools) is a strong plus
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Proficient with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Productboard, or similar
- Data-informed decision maker - comfortable using product analytics, dashboards & voice of customer (VOC) to guide prioritization
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills

- The stated salary range represents the entire span applicable across all geographic markets from lowest to highest. Actual salary offers will be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data and cost of labor. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for variable compensation.
