Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations listed here; Atlanta, GA; Miami, FL; Tampa, FL; Indianapolis, IN; Woburn, MA; Columbus, OH and Norfolk, VA.

The Business Change Manager is responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals.

How you will make an Impact:
  • Identifies potential issues, project change, and scope.
  • Leads efforts to identify best practices.
  • Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.
  • Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.
  • Designs methods for integrating function and process.
  • Conducts cost/benefit analyses.
  • Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.


Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 5 years process or project related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Experiences and Competencies:

  • Ability to understand SIU's long-term goals, and align change initiatives accordingly, especially those involving technology.
  • Deep understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools to guide organizations through transitions smoothly.
  • Knowledgeable about current and emerging technologies and how they can be integrated into business processes to improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Skillful in negotiating resources, timelines, and expectations to facilitate successful implementation of tech solutions.
  • Flexibility to adapt strategies and plans in the face of unexpected challenges or resistance, maintaining momentum for change.
  • Capable of designing and delivering training programs that support the adoption of tech solutions by enhancing user skills and confidence.
  • Ability to identify issues that arise during change initiatives and develop strategic solutions, especially concerning tech adoption.
  • Experience in successfully developing and managing projects with fairly significant operating budget and knowledge of process redesign is strongly preferred.
