You will be the Program Operations Lead for our Advanced Programs team in Chelmsford. Our team is seeking a highly motivated, highly organized and self-accountable Program Operations Lead to support the Hydra Program. In this role you will be responsible for leading the program IPT team and will report to the Program Operations Manager.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Program Operations Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the Program Operations leadership, production operations teams, and off-site line of business production operations teams. You must be able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. Program Operations work scope spans production, development and sustainment.

Responsibilities will include:
Integrated Operating Plan (IOP) on-time delivery
Generate IOP recovery plans as required and communicate/status to those plans using Z-Charts
Provide support to Program Operations Manager and executes tasks as assigned
Provide recurring support to production floor supervisors, engaging daily and frequently to ensure collaboration and alignment to program priorities
Attend daily production floor meetings in a support capacity
Lead daily cross functional Program Operations IPT meeting
Represent operations at Yield Improvement Meetings (YIT), Failure Improvement Board Meetings (FIB), Root Cause Corrective Action Meetings (RCCA), and all other program meetings that require operations support or as assigned by manager
Collaborate with Planning and Global Supply Chain to ensure procurement and logistics meet production needs
Act as liaison between the program and production, flowing priorities and relevant information bi laterally
Lead/support ramp to rate and affordability initiatives
Support and ensure transition to production and other engineering changes carrying impact to production are executed in a controlled manner
Operations lead to ensure transition to production activities are executed in a controlled manner
Support monthly financial management activities ETC's, EAC's, cost account variance responses
Create program operations status presentations and present at monthly program reviews internally and externally
Other duties as assigned by Program Operations leadership

Additional responsibilities include:
Support Make/Buy efforts
Participate in Prod Ops planning/execution of various types of programs to include but not limited to: Development, Production, IRAD, NRE, RTG plans, etc.
Support facilities and capital planning to ensure production continuity ahead of projected growth
Support Production Readiness Review (PRR) activities
Support achievement of Affordability, Producibility and Capacity targets are achieved
Support identification of production manpower and resources needs, and plans to solution
Monitor and track manufacturing plans/schedules to ensure on-time delivery to IOP
Cost Account Management (CAM) for production operations control accounts to include EAC/Spend Plan development, as required
Support program operations proposal responses and generate/facilitate operations basis of estimates (BOE).
Participate and support Program Operations leadership with strategic planning

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in operations management, business, engineering or relevant other discipline
Minimum 2 years in a production/manufacturing lead or IPT lead role
Basic knowledge and understanding of Production Planning, Tooling, and MRP
Ability to attain Lockheed Martin Cost Account Management (CAM) certification within 6 mos. of hire (LM training will be provided)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
Active Final Secret security clearance with an investigation / CV within the last five years. This requires U.S. citizenship.
This position also requires an enhanced security review in accordance with Government contract requirements and it is a condition of employment that individuals hired into positions requiring program clearance obtain and maintain such clearance within sufficient time to allow Lockheed Martin to meet its business needs

Desired skills
Demonstrated skills in team building and leading without authority
Knowledge of fabrication, Electro-Mechanical Assembly, and/or Circuit Card manufacturing
Familiar with budgets and cost targets and various key operational metrics
Familiar with MRP/ERP/Manufacturing planning tools such as SAP, APRISO, etc.
Green Belt Certification
Experience with a matrix management organization
Experience with Production Planning, Proposals, Estimating
Familiar with capital, rate tooling and test equipment planning
10+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 8+ years of professional experience with a related Masters degree

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $95,000 - $167,440. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
