An Advanced Work Packaging Senior Manager - CSA oversees and plans work requiring sound engineering judgment in the breakdown of construction projects into smaller, discipline specific, manageable and planned pieces of work for installation by field crews. This position oversees the activities of the Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) group personnel and subcontractors. This position is responsible for recruiting, developing, retaining and providing training to personnel and coordinating and assigning responsibilities to group Managers and Leads. This position oversees the development of execution sequencing and works with various department managers to facilitate the transfer of information with a particular focus on the Workface Planning (WFP). In addition, the AWP Senior Manager - CSA will be responsible to meet and improve the WFP process for work planned by Fluor and any of its contractors.

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the activities of group personnel and subcontractors
Recruit, develop and retain group Manager, Lead and Planner personnel
Ensure that personnel receive the appropriate training on both corporate and project specific organizational policies and procedures
Ensure departmental goals and objectives are achieved
Coordinate and assign responsibilities to Managers and Leads under his or her direction and ensure that these activities support construction requirements
Oversee the development of execution sequencing
Work with various department managers to facilitate the smooth transfer of information between groups
Audit Installation Work Packages (IWPs) to ensure that they meet construction needs and organizational requirements
Coordinate with other construction groups on site to facilitate safe and productive field execution and transparent reporting
Coordinate with automation managers to ensure that implementation of construction automation tools meet the required schedule to support execution
Participate in constructability and model reviews
Participate in the development of area schedules and execution sequencing
Coordinate with appropriate engineers to address constructability, technical questions or concerns
Select and recruit group Managers and Leads
Train group Leads and Planners and other organizational personnel on Fluor's AWP policies and
procedures
Coordinate with other departmental managers to ensure information flows are efficient and transparent, and facilitate resolutions when required
Mentor group Managers and Leads within the department
Audit IWPs for timely sign off and approval by each responsible party
Provide group status updates to senior management
Oversee IWP progress and that the IWP is efficiently and accurately tracked and reported to the project team
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance to Fluor and the client's AWP requirements
Conduct subcontractor audits to ensure compliance to Fluor and the client's AWP requirements
Maintain and update the project specific AWP Planning Manual
Influence construction personnel to understand and follow the AWP Program
Actively engage in hazard identification and work closely with HSE groups to facilitate a safe work environment
Remain knowledgeable of current group practices and techniques
Leverage internal and external resources to administer policies and procedures consistently across all business groups, lines, functions and locations
Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action
Organize and prioritize a variety of complex projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities and meet critical time deadlines
Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety and Environmental and Sustainability Policies
Lead by example and strongly support both Fluor and the client's HSE programs
Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job
May need to travel to attend to business related matters
Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements
Must be able to provide proof of US citizenship
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and twelve (10)
years* of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the
applicable field; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to
comply with local requirements
Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience within a management capacity
Three (3) years of experience with Advanced Work Packaging as Lead or Manager
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to, coworkers,
management, clients, vendors, contractors and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national
statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications
Strong constructability background
Strong leadership and mentorship skills
Possess strong problem solving, organizational and conflict resolution skills
Effective communication and technical writing skills
Ability to read and interpret drawings (P&ID's, isometrics, erection drawings, general
arrangements, line designation tables, cable schedules, etc.)
Ability to adapt to and manage changing conditions
Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations, SPC is a plus
Strong understanding of materials management systems, tracking and procedures
Strong understanding of quality systems, testing requirements and documentation management requirements inclusive of turnover procedures
