Account Manager

As Account Manager - Inside Sales - Direct Solutions you will be responsible for supporting the Direct Account Managers with Pre-Investment Committee Meetings, Proposals, Asset Management Interactions, Legal correspondence, and overall sales management across North America. You will also be tasked with developing new customer contacts (relationships), identifying and pursuing incremental sales opportunities (hunter) and identifying and pursing new incremental opportunities from existing portfolio in order to realize the formulated sales objectives on new business volume and profitability objectives

Day to Day

1. Inside Sales

Support the Direct Account Managers with their day to day sales responsibilities including pricing, proposals, PICS, and team management. Guide the team with data analysis from an account, opportunity, leads, and activity.

2. Customer Management

Analyze and understand established customer relationships and help navigate flow business through the booking and funding process, working directly with operations. Act as a first point of contact for direct customers for documentation and troubleshooting efforts. Optimize business, customer satisfaction, income and profitability in the short and long term.

3. Sales Lead Origination

Identify and act on, or actively pursue, sales and ensure follow up of opportunities consistent with the country sales plan Incremental contribution is made to NBV, profitability and lease conversion rate.

4. Sales Visits

Accompany Direct Account Managers on customer and prospect meetings, preparing needed materials and introducing and refining DLL financing capabilities to their attention, including commercial finance and non-standard product offerings.

5. Transactions/Deals

Structure transactions and/or deals with direct customers, involve relevant expertise (e.g. credit risk, fiscal, legal, etc.) and balance interests of all stakeholders involved. Effectively and efficiently meet customer business needs.

6. Internal Relationship Management

Manage and navigate through the internal processes becoming a point person for all the support functions including: Asset Management, Legal, Risk, Operations, Capital Markets, Management, Collections, Remarketing and Finance.

Essentials

  • Professional level (Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience) with minimum 3 years of solid insight and experience in the finance market and relevant lease market (incl. Assets).
  • Proven experience identifying prospects and developing business plans
  • Experience working with C-Suite level clients to drive business through ideas & structures
  • Travel (20%+) within United States, with expectations to secure meetings with senior level (CFO, CEO) personnel with identified target accounts
  • General knowledge of multiple industries & markets. Ability to learn new industries & markets quickly
  • Advanced leasing knowledge and experience across multiple industries & asset types
  • Ability to liaise between internal stakeholders on complex customer needs/solutions (negotiating contracts, pricing, product development)

Applicable pay range

$90,388.80 - $135,583.20 (This role is eligible for sales commissions which increase the target earnings beyond the listed pay range)

DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLL's compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
