Job Description
The Home Health Rehabilitation Services Manager is primarily an administrative position. The Manager serves as back-up for the Clinical Director, coordinates daily resource allocation across the departments and locations assuring all ordered treatments are completed, participates in department program development and performance improvement activities, and participates in hiring and orientation of new staff. This position assists the director in all assigned duties in provision of daily operational oversight of the Home Health and Hospice agency and serves as an administrative resource for these departments.

Required Skills
Able to demonstrate management and leadership skills as well as therapy expertise through examples of past problem-solving.
Has shown ability to establish effective working relationships.
Has ability to articulate to the community of constituents the value range and necessity of home health services both from acute care and long-term care perspectives.
Possesses requisite knowledge and skills in discrete therapy specialty areas as appropriate.
Basic computer knowledge and abilities.
Very familiar and comfortable with interpretation of Title XXII and the Medicare Act.
With consideration to age, employee utilizes the approved process to resolve biophysical, psychological, educational, and environmental needs to patient/significant other when administering care.
Required Experience
Required:
Licensed as an occupational therapist, physical therapist or speech and language pathologist in California, or eligible to take the examination for licensure in the State of California if coming from out of state.
Minimum two years of experience within the last five years in a home health agency, primary care clinic, or health facility.
Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
Current California driver's license and valid auto insurance.
