Job Description

Direct, Full-Time Hire*Concrete Estimator* career opportunity in Alpharetta, GA with a leader in the concrete construction industry!
This role involves preparing estimates, evaluating subcontractor bids, and reviewing project plans and specifications.
Position Highlights:

• Location: Alpharetta, GA 30005
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, ~ 8 AM-5 PM
• Compensation: ~ +/- $75--$95k/yr [paid hourly: ~ +/-$36--$46/hr] + great benefits!
• Employment Type: Direct Hire
• Overtime: Occasionally
• Travel: Not required

Responsibilities:

• Prepare schematic, design development, and construction document estimates
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and scopes of work
• Perform quantity surveys and review project plans/specifications for all CSI categories
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site tours, and post-bid interviews
• Build effective relationships with customers, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers

Requirements:

• BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of preconstruction or operations experience on commercial projects
• Knowledge of civil/site construction, foundation, and structural systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suites; familiarity with On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, bid management, and online plan rooms is preferred
