The Commercial Accounts Manager plans, secures, and markets adequate supplies of energy commodities to meet the company's needs. This role identifies opportunities for and creates new relationships while maintaining and growing established relationships. The Commercial Accounts Manager actively grows and maintains current supply and sales agreements with customers. Lastly, this position is responsible for designing and aggregating forecasts of needed supply, transportation requirements and available storage of natural gas or natural gas liquids.

Midstream
The Phillips 66 Midstream business is a safe, reliable, and trusted provider for the movement, storage, gathering, and processing of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 70,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. Our capabilities include extensive natural gas gathering and processing operations, enhancing our wellhead-to-market strategy. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.

The Commercial Accounts Manager actively grows and maintains current supply and sales agreements with customers. Lastly, this position is responsible for designing and aggregating forecasts of needed supply, transportation requirements and available storage of natural gas or natural gas liquids.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Maintaining awareness of larger commodity environment, and brings that knowledge to regional forecasts, customer, vendor, transportation and storage agreements, and contracts
- Independently developing long-term supply agreements regarding transportation and storage arrangements
- Advising on company policies and procedures and ensuring all contracts and transactions are conducted within both prescribed legal and the company policies and procedures
- Collaborating with the Commercial and Trading functions to determine pricing and terms of new contracts
- Identifying and executing on new long-term supply opportunities and assisting in determining prices and contract terms for profitable transactions in partnership with the Commercial and Trading functions
- Negotiating gas purchase or natural gas liquids marketing contracts with customers as well as with transportation organizations and storage operators as required
- Administering and monitoring existing purchase and sale contracts
- Identifying projects and / or activities that will improve current processes, then leading those projects or has accountability for ongoing activities or objectives coming from that identification
- Accounting for accurate and timely financial analysis, project approvals, ongoing customer engagement, and setting strategy within their region to support the company's purpose across the organization
- Leading, mentoring, and actively sharing knowledge across the Commercial organization
- Performing other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
Required Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration or a similar field
- 7 or more years related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration or a similar field
- 10-12 years of related experience
- Oil and gas industry experience
- Proven leadership skills and ability to influence at a local level and across a broad organization
- Ability to work independently to drive results as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
