AI Solutions Product Engineer

THE ROLE:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product management and a passion for developing innovative solutions to address real-world challenges. You will work closely with engineering, data science, UX teams, architects and internal customer teams to bring high-impact AI products from concept to launch. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, strong product management skills, and the ability to define and execute a strategic product vision.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Strategy and Vision

• Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap for AI-powered solutions aligned with business goals and market trends
• Partner with a Program lead to identify opportunities to leverage AI technologies to solve business challenges and enhance customer experiences
• Stay abreast of advancements in AI, data science, and related technologies to inform product strategy
• Prioritize features and capabilities based on business value and technical feasibility
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery
• Prioritize product backlog items based on business impact, technical feasibility, and resource availability
• Cross-Functional Communication & Alignment
• Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and UX/UI designers to ensure the delivery of high-quality AI solutions
• Ensure alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle

Performance Monitoring

• Collaborate with a Program lead to define KPIs to measure the impact of AI solutions on business objectives
• Manage scope to avoid overengineering and ensure focus on delivering measurable outcomes
• Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on product performance and development progress

Risk Management & Problem Solving

• Proactively identify potential risks and challenges early in the development process, working to find solutions before they impact project timelines or outcomes

Product Launch and Roadmap Development

• Oversee the development process and validate product functionality and performance, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet requirements
• Drive continuous improvement by collecting and analyzing user feedback to inform future enhancements
• Develop and maintain a robust roadmap for AI Foundations, a reusable library of AI capabilities that can be leveraged across multiple projects to accelerate development and innovation

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Additional certifications in AI/ML or product management (preferred)

Technical Skills

• Strong programming skills (Python, Java, or similar)
• Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
• Understanding of AI/ML algorithms and methodologies
• Data analysis and visualization capabilities

Business Skills

• Product management experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities

Experience and soft skills

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, with a focus on AI-powered solutions or software products
• Experience in Agile methodologies, including managing product backlogs and conducting sprint planning.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail in execution.
• Hands-on experience with AI platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar) or data visualization tools.
• Preferred:
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Certification in Product Ownership or Agile methodologies (CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, etc.).
  • Understanding of data governance, AI ethics, and compliance considerations.

Salary range:
$112,700.00 - $202,900.00
