The Wholesale Operations Manager will oversee and support Milk Bar's Wholesale business, ensuring seamless order management, account growth, and customer satisfaction. This role will focus on onboarding new customers, managing day-to-day account operations, and driving increased Average Order Value (AOV). The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and external partners to optimize order fulfillment, improve customer experience, and support sales growth.

The Wholesale Operations Manager will oversee and support Milk Bar's Wholesale business, ensuring seamless order management, account growth, and customer satisfaction. This role will focus on onboarding new customers, managing day-to-day account operations, and driving increased Average Order Value (AOV). The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and external partners to optimize order fulfillment, improve customer experience, and support sales growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Wholesale accounts, ensuring seamless communication, strong partnerships, and timely issue resolution while proactively identifying opportunities to optimize customer order patterns and increase reorder frequency.
- Oversee customer onboarding, ensuring accurate account setup, pricing, and compliance with contractual agreements while driving increased AOV through data-driven upselling strategies and SKU performance analysis.
- Manage end-to-end order processing and fulfillment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and on-time deliveries while working closely with 3PL providers to track order status, resolve fulfillment issues, and implement cost-saving initiatives in freight and warehousing.
- Monitor inventory levels for core products, preventing stockouts, managing inventory health, and analyzing sales trends and SKU performance to support demand planning, improve forecasting accuracy, and reduce excess inventory holding costs.
- Ensure accurate order entry, fulfillment, and invoicing while coordinating inbound and outbound freight shipments (LTL, TL, small parcel) in collaboration with Logistics, leveraging cost-per-shipment analysis to drive fulfillment cost reduction.
- Track and analyze wholesale fulfillment KPIs, including order accuracy, transit times, cost-per-case, and fulfillment expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and overall supply chain efficiency in partnership with Operations, Finance, and Sales teams.
- Publish a Month-to-Date (MTD) Sales Report for the Wholesale channel on a weekly basis, providing key insights into sales performance, AOV trends, and fulfillment cost impact, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key wholesale partners, acting as a liaison between Operations and Sales to support promotional initiatives, product launches, and seasonal demand shifts, while leveraging data insights to optimize order cadence and revenue growth.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of experience at a Consumer Packaged Goods company. The candidate needs a blend of traditional + startup Food Services experience. Food & Beverage cold chain experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree required; Business or Operations-related degree preferred.
- Self-starter - can work effectively in a decentralized environment with remote team members
- Accuracy and detail-oriented, highly organized and efficient, seeks order in everything, structured in approach with the ability to 'roll with the punches'
- Ability to multitask and manage many different moving pieces at once. Ability to pivot with the shifting needs of the business
- Confidence in own judgment and ability to make good decisions
- Expert in Microsoft Excel, G Suite Products, Quickbooks, Shopify, and ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail. Flexible, adaptable, and resourceful
- Great time management skills and ability to work with short deadlines
- Ability to communicate well with various cross functional groups as well as suppliers and vendors
- A highly self-motivated and detail-oriented work ethic with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced and changing environment
