The Prime Video Mobile team delivers premium, cinematic streaming experiences to customers through beautifully crafted mobile applications. Whenever a customer opens Prime Video on their mobile device worldwide, they're greeted with a pixel-perfect, engaging interface that sets the standard for streaming excellence. Our Mobile team crafts and maintains the sophisticated infrastructure and elegant user experiences that power seamless video playback, intuitive navigation, and stunning visual presentations used by millions of Amazon customers daily. You will focus on delivering innovative, premium-quality streaming experiences that rival the cinematic experience, adapted perfectly for entertainment anytime, anywhere.

Key job responsibilities

As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you lead complex, Prime Video-wide initiatives in both our customer-facing mobile experiences and the robust infrastructure that powers them. You will partner with UX designers, CX developers, Video engineers, and infrastructure teams to create sophisticated, premium streaming experiences that delight customers. The role requires deep understanding of modern Mobile technologies, UI/UX best practices, video streaming architectures, and distributed systems. A successful candidate will balance technical excellence with creative program management, working across teams to deliver experiences that feel both innovative and effortless to customers. As a single-threaded owner, you are trusted to drive both technical and experiential excellence independently.

Key job responsibilities:

- Design and lead a multi-year product roadmap that advances our innovative CX

- Define creative, high-quality experiences that elevate mobile streaming to a premium, cinematic level

- Partner with UX, SDE, and Product teams to create cohesive roadmap and program plans across all mobile platforms

- Champion user experience improvements through quantitative metrics and qualitative customer feedback

- Lead initiatives to reduce latency, improve startup times, and ensure smooth discovery across varying network conditions

- Drive technical decisions that enable next-generation mobile viewing experiences

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience

- 5+ years of software development experience

- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience leading complex Mobile application programs with native Android and iOS applications.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
