Project Manager - Ohio

An innovative space technology company is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, space hardware programs from inception to completion. This role is perfect for a strong project manager who can coordinate technical teams, manage project scope and budgets, and drive programs to successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Identify, mitigate, and manage risks while proactively handling scope changes.
• Oversee supplier relationships, including contract negotiations and performance oversight.
• Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability.
• Implement and refine program management best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve key program milestones.
• Support proposal development by working closely with technical and financial teams.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, or Business.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Background in program/project management.
• Proven track record of managing hardware development programs, including design, testing, and production.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience working with both government and commercial aerospace customers.
• Familiarity with launch vehicles, satellite systems, and/or payload development.
