Job Description

The Senior Analyst, Finance ("SFA") will be part of Brookfield Infrastructure's Global Finance team. Located in our head office in Downtown Toronto, the SFA role is a highly visible position that provides a solid foundation and exposure to a progressive and dynamic career with a publicly-listed company with a long history as an owner and operator of real assets. The SFA will actively participate in the consolidation and financial reporting of Infrastructure's publicly listed companies, (BIP and BIPC), support internal financial reporting to parent companies (BN and BN), and will support compliance, investor relations and business planning & forecasting. There is also opportunity to provide leadership and mentorship to co-op students and new hires.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with operating platforms to prepare consolidated financial statements and public documents on a quarterly and annual basis, including the MD&A
Actively participate and lead the resolution of complex technical accounting issues and the execution of regulatory updates, including the coordination with auditors and operating business groups
Present various analyses and reports for senior management, such as operating metrics and corporate financial results to support their business decision-making
Produce financial reporting deliverables provided to the Board and senior management
Support internal and external audit teams in relation to quarterly reviews, the annual audit and SOX compliance
Assist in preparing consolidated financial forecasts, tracking global operating results of subsidiaries and articulating these results to key stakeholders
Collaborate regularly with operating business groups and various Brookfield departments
Mentor junior staff to aid in their development
Continuously look for efficiency in our processes, tools and reports and make suggestions to implement these into our framework
Assist as needed with due diligence related to refinancing, ad-hoc analyses and presentations on financial and operating results, investor queries and special projects

Qualifications & Requirements:
Two to three (2-3) years of progressive work experience in an accounting or auditing function
A recognized professional accounting designation (CPA)
Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel skills
Leadership and interpersonal skills, and the willingness to always support the team
Highly organized and able to work in a dynamic, complex and fast-paced environment, as well as adapt quickly to manage changing priorities and deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated and pro-active, with respect to both managing workload and professional development
Knowledge of HFM, OneStream, and Workiva would be an asset
