Overview:
Seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join the team in Sarasota, FL. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering, specializing in private and public site design, as well as municipal capital improvement projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal capital improvement projects
- Coordinate with project engineers and oversee CAD Designers
- Prepare and submit proposals to county and local permitting agencies
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Collaborate closely with the president of Morris Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license [or EI / EIT] and valid driver's license
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and ability to read and open CAD files
- 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal permitting agencies
- Experience with ICPR (storm water software), Modret, WaterCAD, and AutoCAD is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
