Leidos is looking for a Mobility Engineer to support a large U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) program. The Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is responsible for enforcing federal antitrust laws and promoting fair competition in the marketplace. The Mobility Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, management, and optimization of VMware Workspace ONE as part of our enterprise mobility and endpoint management strategy. This role involves working closely with IT security, infrastructure, and business units to ensure that mobile devices, applications, and data are securely managed and easily accessible. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Workspace ONE, mobile device management (MDM), and mobile application management (MAM), along with a strong focus on security, compliance, and automation. This work is located onsite in the DC area.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the deployment and configuration of VMware Workspace ONE for Mobile Device Management (MDM), Mobile Application Management (MAM), and Identity Management.
- Administer and maintain Workspace ONE UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) to manage mobile devices, desktops, and endpoints across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS).
- Implement and optimize Mobile Threat Defense (MTD) and other security features within Workspace ONE to ensure enterprise data is protected across all endpoints.
- Configure and manage device profiles, compliance policies, and security settings for both corporate-owned and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) environments.
- Implement app catalogues and configure Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solutions, including app distribution, secure access, and remote wipe capabilities.
- Implement conditional access policies, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and single sign-on (SSO) integrations for mobile environments using Workspace ONE.
- Leverage Workspace ONE Automation tools, APIs, and PowerShell/Bash scripting to automate routine management tasks, reporting, and configuration.
- Create scripts and workflows to streamline device provisioning, de-provisioning, and other mobile management processes.
- Monitor Workspace ONE for system performance, device compliance, and security posture, ensuring optimal functionality and minimal downtime.
- Generate reports and dashboards for mobile device status, app usage, security compliance, and user access to provide insights to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to Workspace ONE configurations, mobile device policies, and troubleshooting procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience. Relevant certifications and work experience may also be considered.
- 5+ years of experience in mobility engineering, endpoint management, or IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on VMware Workspace ONE.
- In-depth knowledge of VMware Workspace ONE UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) for managing mobile devices and applications across iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS.
- Experience with mobile operating systems, including iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS.
- Expertise in mobile security best practices, including MDM, MAM, mobile threat defense, encryption, and compliance policies.
- Hands-on experience with mobile application deployment, app configuration, and integration with enterprise systems.
- Proficiency in using PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages for automating administrative tasks and device management.
- Strong understanding of Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and conditional access policies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues related to mobile devices, applications, and security.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members, sharing expertise and best practices for managing mobile environments.
Desirable Skills:
- Certifications: VMware Certified Professional - Workspace ONE, VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP), or other related certifications.
- Experience with Mobile Threat Defense (MTD) solutions and enterprise mobility security frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud identity management solutions like Azure AD and integration with mobile device management platforms.
- Understanding of cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud, and their integration with mobile management solutions.
