JOB TITLE: Quality/Test Engineer 4
LOCATION: Pontiac, IL
ON SITE/HYBRID/REMOTE: Onsite
SALARY: $40-$46/hr.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The main function of a quality engineer is to research and test the design, functionality and maintenance of products, equipment, systems and processes and develop quality standards. A typical quality engineer has the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and evaluate product integrity and standards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position's Contributions to Work Group:
- Internal Quality- Fabrications/Machining
- Work with the Small Business Team to lead and improve internal Quality
Typical task breakdown:
- Analyze Scrap and Rework Data
- Lead internal 8D Problem Resolution
- Assist with containment of Supplier Quality Non-Conformances
Interaction with team:
- Works with Section Manager, Manufacturing Engineer and Team Lead
- Interacts with Assembly Technicians on shop floor
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors in an Engineering Field
- 5 to 10 years' experience.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Microsoft Office
- Problem Solving
- Minitab
