Regional West Health Services is an independent, not-for-profit integrated health care delivery system based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska that is seeking a leader to join our team as Executive Director Medical Group - Physicians Clinics. The Executive Director Medical Group - Physicians Clinics is responsible for the day-to-day business and practice operations of Regional West Physicians (RWPC) and reports to the President and Chief Executive Officer. The Executive Director Medical Group - Physicians Clinics administers and directs the business and practice management functions of RWPC consistent with the policies of RWPC and RWHS.
To serve this mission, you will be charged with aligning the business and practice management functions with the philosophy and direction of the Regional West Health System (RWHS) and RWPC to assist physicians and employees in fulfilling their responsibilities. The Executive Director Medical Group - Physicians Clinics will assist in promoting the health services provided by RWPC to the community and will work with the President and CEO of RWHS to ensure continuity and alignment of services between RWPC and RWMC.

The Executive Director Medical Group - Physicians Clinics will assist in promoting the health services provided by RWPC to the community and will work with the President and CEO of RWHS to ensure continuity and alignment of services between RWPC and RWMC.
As the Executive Director Medical Group - Physicians Clinics, you will:
- Develop and implement long-term operational strategies.
- Ensure efficient and effective workflows.
- Manage budgets and other resources to achieve operational goals.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjusting strategies based on data.
- Communicate with other departments and senior management to ensure alignment and support.
- Identify and mitigate potential operational risks.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in health administration/nursing, business administration, or related field
- 5+ years of operations level experience with large multispecialty group practices
- Knowledge of and experience working in a rural health care setting
- Experience managing budgets and financial performance
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, to include public speaking
- Possesses strong ethics and high moral standards
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the financial policies and procedures inherent to multidisciplinary health systems to direct its financial operations
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of employee development sufficient to ensure organizational productivity
- Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives
- Skill in analyzing situations accurately and taking effective action
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, policy making bodies, third party payers, patients and the public
- Skill in organizing work, making assignments and achieving goals and objectives
- Skill in exercising judgment and discretion in developing, applying, interpreting and coordinating departmental policies and procedures
