The Vacancy
An Electronic Test Equipment Van Installation Manager oversees and coordinates the installation of Megger's cable fault location and cable diagnostic electronic equipment within vehicles, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Plan, schedule, and manage Electronic van installation projects from start to finish.
Manage the repair of electronic systems on customer van returns
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate with clients, sales, and engineering to understand expectations.
Manage project budgets and resources.
Team Leadership:
Lead and supervise a team of installation technicians.
Provide guidance, training, and support to the team.
Ensure team members adhere to safety protocols.
Technical Expertise:
Possess a strong understanding of Electronic systems and installation procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during installations.
Coordinate with supply chain experts for materials
Communication and Client Relations:
Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
Safety:
Implement and enforce safety protocols and standards during installations.
Ensure a safe working environment for high Voltage testing procedures.
Quality Control:
Inspect and test Electronic installations to ensure they meet quality standards.
Identify and perform root cause analysis on identified defects
Skills and Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
BS in electronics engineering or related field.
Lean Green Belt certification preferred
Experience managing technicians:
Strong knowledge of Electronic instrument systems and installation/repair procedures.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
