Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems has an immediate need for a Sr. Principal Manufacturing Analyst to join our Production & Sustainment Team located in Elkridge, MD. (Troy Hill)
The successful candidate will have strong communication, organizational and analytical skills with a history of problem resolution as well as process improvement efforts. Experience working with leadership in cross-functional teams and effective communication with internal and external customers. This role will support our Troy Hill site, Cell Metrics and Dynamic Production Scheduling (DPS), as well as assist with overlooking several Programs across the area.

Salary Range: $108,400.00 - $162,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems has an immediate need for a Sr. Principal Manufacturing Analyst to join our Production & Sustainment Team located in Elkridge, MD. (Troy Hill)

What You'll Get to Do:
- Planning, organizing, and controlling the timely flow of product through the Manufacturing Cell to support both internal and external customer delivery requirements
- Additional responsibilities include providing status of hardware of assigned Programs from the time of initial kit conversion, through manufacturing process, to delivery of hardware to internal and or external customers, SAP metric maintenance, i.e. Aging Orders, and Overdue hours, CNF not DLV orders, Floor stock inventory control, and the resolving of material shortages as they relate to open production orders
- Cross-Functional Lead for workload requirements, forecasting, and scheduling between Cell Management, Production Management, Inspection Management, Quality, and Operations Program Management (OPM) teams on Lifecycle Sustainment and Production Program efforts
- Strategic scheduling of unplanned Sustainment work factoring need date, manpower skillset, material availability, and repair requirements in the absence of an ERP/MES system
- Evaluate Sustainment requirements at the point of order creation after induction including the assessment of Contract, Drawing, and Test Requirements to generate each repair's unique process to completion
- Facilitate timely flow of hardware throughout entire Troy Hill campus from Induction to Shipment, and communicating progress to both internal and external customers
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Government Property (GP), Materials, and OPM to facilitate aging repairs moving between GP and Manufacturing areas. Collaboration to manage material availability and sending to GP
- Interface with Industrial Engineers (IE) to facilitate master routing releases, updates and processing of changes into open production orders
- Support and Lead Logistics Coordinators in troubleshooting issues and providing guidance where needed
- SAP/GOLD metric maintenance: Aging Orders, Out-of-Cycle orders, Confirmed not TECO'd orders, location and work center accuracy, child job order closeout and the resolving of material shortages for open production orders
- Gold and Sustainment SME for S/5 transition
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, or Production Control; Master's Degree with 6 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, or Production Control; 12 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, or Production Control may be considered in Lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 2 years SAP/ERP or other related systems experience
- Prior experience Leading/Coaching people and/or projects
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, or other closely related area are preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills are preferred
- Active Secret Security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance. US citizenship required
