Description:
As a DNS BlueCat Engineer, you will make an impact by playing a meaningful role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our global DNS infrastructure. You will contribute to the performance and resilience of our network services, enabling flawless access to systems and applications across the enterprise. You will be a valued member of our Infrastructure practice and work collaboratively with our Engagement Delivery Lead.

In this role, you will
- Design and build DNS solutions using BlueCat Address Manager and DNS/DHCP Server to support enterprise-wide availability and performance.
- Lead all aspects of DNS zones, records, and policies to deliver consistent, secure, and reliable access across systems.
- Manage DNS health and performance to identify and resolve issues before they impact users or operations.
- Provide resolutions for DNS related incidents to minimize downtime and ensure optimal business continuity.
- Embed security practices like DNSSEC and DNS Firewall to protect infrastructure and support compliance.
- Use BlueCat APIs and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to automate workflows, reducing manual work and improving speed and accuracy.
- Closely coordinate with diverse teams to connect DNS capabilities with hybrid cloud and on-prem environments to enhance integration and system efficiency.
- Maintain documentation that encourages other teams to operate efficiently and with transparency.
- Offer expert mentorship to technical teams and collaborators, supporting well-informed decision-making and flawless project delivery.
- A Proven track record of 6 or more years with BlueCat DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) platforms.
- Expert in DNS protocols, networking standards, and security protocols.
- Detailed understanding of cloud networking (ideally in Google Cloud Platform).
- Proficiency in scripting with Python or PowerShell, and experience using BlueCat APIs for automation.
- Outstanding knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools and approaches.
- Expert ability to lead technical initiatives and own the work you're doing.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with superb communication and teamwork skills.
- BlueCat certification (e.g., BlueCat Certified Professional) or related credentials are an added bonus.
