Selectek is hiring for an Operations Director in the Quakertown, PA area.

Required:
  • BS degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Experience managing staff and P&L responsibilities
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • Proficient knowledge of meter proving technologies, calibration methods, and industry specific standards (HB44)
  • Experience with greenfield and brownfield geographic expansions
  • Willing to travel up to 40% (out of state)
Preferred:
  • Field or Measurement Engineering experience

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage operations, administrative, and quality staff to optimize internal processes and day-to-day field work efficiency
  • Multisite facility and employee relations management of PA, OH, SC, and FL locations
  • Manage company performance to annual budget and engage with corporate leadership as necessary to review P&L, general ledger, and balance sheets
  • Manage day-to-day planning of in-shop responsibilities for all departments
  • Manage mentorship and growth goals of company leadership
  • Manage all capital projects from initial planning to final implementation
  • Coordinate work schedule for in-house liquid petroleum meter calibration department
  • Facilitate master service agreement (MSA) negotiations with major oil company customers
  • Facilitate company compliance with OSHA and all customer required 3rd party agencies (DISA, Veriforce, ISNetworld)
  • Facilitate annual performance review process for all company employees
  • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable departments
  • Assist with employee on-boarding and training
  • Maintain vendor relationships and pricing of key meter assemblies for resale to customers
  • Attend corporate networking and tradeshow events as required

Job Details:
You are THE engineer of the team and have ownership of P&L. You will be budgeting and managing operating expenses, day to day problem solving, overseeing 35-40 trucks out in the field, and sales.

This is a "roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty" corporate job. This person will have five direct reports and is overseeing P&L (Profit & Loss) for the Flow Division group. You are managing technician teams who go out and work with gasoline and jet fuel.
Sponsorship: U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (no sponsorship)
Salary range: $175,000 - $200,000
Hours and shift: Monday - Frida, 8AM-5PM. Expect some variation around traveling.
Work from home: This is a C-Level position so they will be expected to be available but can sort of create own schedule around office, travel, etc.
Work remote: No
Overtime expected: No
Travel: 40% - FL, OH, SC to visit work sites
Work attire: Casual
