Electrical Project Manager (Data Centers) - Fayetteville, GA
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in managing electrical equipment installation for data centers. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in projects from the design phase (design-build and design-assist) through execution and completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of electrical installation, including coordination, material delivery, value engineering, safety, labor, tools, and quality control.
- Manage estimating, scheduling, purchasing, coordination, and billing.
- Participate in project acquisition including layout/design (AutoCAD), bidding, billing, constructability analysis, site logistics, and prefabrication planning.
- Lead preconstruction efforts including team development, planning, and procurement.
- Manage project execution including scheduling, team/relationship building, change management, issue resolution, cost projections, and billing.
- Ensure successful project closeout by managing final documentation, owner training, contract reconciliation, and final billing.
Technical Expertise:
Candidates must have experience in the following electrical engineering and contracting areas:
- Wiring, outlets, lights, motion sensors, conduit
- Ground-up / Design-Build / Remodel projects
- Electrical power systems
- First-generation tenant build-outs and labs
- Critical Power systems (Generators, UPS, Fire Alarm, Communication/AV Infrastructure)
- Electrical Distribution (15Kv, 19.5Kv)
- Power and Lighting (120/208V, 480/277V)
- Generators (200kW - 2MW)
- Fire Alarm systems, Lighting Protection, Motor Controls, PMS Systems, Security, Switchgear (3000A-4000A, 480V)
- Transformers, UPS Systems
- Telecom/Data/Fiber Systems - Low-Voltage and Data
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Construction, or Construction Management.
- 5+ years of project management experience in electrical engineering or construction with a focus on electrical projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Background in high-end construction/electrical contracting.
- Experience managing large-scale electrical projects ($5M - $70M/project).
- Experience working with clients such as Georgia Power, Coca-Cola, Verizon, Newell Rubbermaid, Truist, Microsoft, and high-end tenant spaces.

- Parking lot & lighting projects (50k-500k SF)
- Lab space & cleanroom electrical installations
- Multi-floor tenant improvement renovations
- Lighting, Power Distribution, UPS, LEED Silver, Daylight Harvesting, Lighting Controls
- Ground-up construction and bus duct installations
- Hotels, conference centers, airports
Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
- Salary range: ~ $85K - $125K+ (Higher salary considered for exceptional candidates)
