Purpose of Position

The FP&A Manager is responsible for the management of financial analysis and planning for a respective operating department(s) within NetJets, Inc. The FP&A Manager will manage the identification, completion, and implementation of analysis and planning work that contributes to improve profitability.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provide support to Executive level strategic initiatives by performing financial and operational analyses that support decision to improve Company performance, profitability and/or safety. Effectively identify, complete, implement, and communicate profit enhancing analyses to all levels including of Executive Management.
• Establish short and long term strategy for the Financial Analysis group and successfully manage completion of group objectives. Coach, develop, and mentor the professional staff to include complete performance management plans (including annual review and IDP).
• Help provide strategic direction for assigned departments and manage financial analysts in the completion of departmental strategic plans, budgets, financial analyses, ad hoc requests to include ensuring timely, relevant, and accurate completion of all of their group's work. Develop and drive (or act as key influencer on) initiatives that improve profitability. Act as partner and advisor to assigned departments and provide outstanding service to internal customers.
• Educate internal customers in proper presentation and communication of financial and operational information including information on company profit drivers and their role in achieving financial goals. Provide information and analysis necessary to manage financial and operational targets.
• Develop project plans as required and manage to establish deadlines.

• 5 years experience or equivalent in financial and operational analysis and planning environment
• 2 years project management experience or direct supervisory experience, preferably at NetJets
• Expertise in Microsoft EXCEL and PowerPoint. Experience with Access and Visual Basis preferred
• Excellent communication skills
