What You Will Do
Establish a good relationship with customers
Develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Develop sales targets, strategies, programs and plans.
- Develop/manage an account-specific promotional plan, coordinating with finance, marketing and sales.
- Communicating with customers and identifying their sales requirements.
Analyzing sales data
- Implement data-driven decision-making to improve sales forecasting accuracy.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standards.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant brand guidelines
Market research and trend analysis
- Analyze market trends, understand client challenges, and develop strategies to maintain and grow our market share.
- Monitoring and identifying market trends, competitors, and new sales leads.
Setting budgets
- Skilled in managing budgets, developing sales training programs, and implementing pricing strategies that increase profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Understand KPI's, targets and review performance.
Coordinate efforts between departments
- Primary point of contact for the accounts.
- Ensuring their satisfaction, identifying growth opportunities, and driving revenue.
Seeking prospective customers
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers.
- Establish good relationships with customers.
- Stay up to date with new developments/policies.
Travel
- Requires 25% - 50% of the time
- Travel to the company headquarters for internal meetings and strategy discussions.
- Visit customer sites across different regions to conduct sales meetings and presentations.
- Attend industry conferences and trade shows.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years' relevant experience
- Proven work experience as a National Account Manager or similar role
- Excellent communication skills, a strong sales background, and a proven track record of managing large accounts.
- Strong understanding of sales and account management principles
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights
- Proficiency in SAP software and Microsoft Office 365
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
