The Senior Manager, Content Engine is an experienced, strategic, and dynamic individual who will support our Media, Growth & Performance Marketing team. This role is integral in establishing the growing role of content marketing in driving return on investment for our brands in the US market. The Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in guiding best practices and supporting the development of content strategies that yield impactful results.
The Senior Manager will be part of our newly formed Audience Engagement Team: A Center of Excellence created to build and advance capabilities in SEO-Driven Content Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Social Listening/Intelligence, and Brand Sponsorships.
This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to evaluate the content that our audiences seek, the platforms and formats they are most likely to engage with and guiding the production of content across channels. This will be achieved by leveraging the resources of our Agency of Record or internal team. The position requires a proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and a profound understanding of how content can enhance our brand's presence in a competitive market.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,800.00 to $201,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Role Responsibilities
- Assist the Director, Content Engine Lead in establishing a pioneering Center of Excellence dedicated to content that enhances SEO and social search.
- Create and lead the development of a company-wide content engine playbook that combines insights from SEO with content actions and outlines the best methods for measuring its impact.
- Using the content playbook, work closely with brand marketers and cross-functional team members to guide content strategies that align with our brand team's objectives and resonate with our target audience; establish learning plans to test and evaluate impact.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality content that enriches storytelling and drives engagement across various organic, search-driven platforms. Ensure all visual content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice.
- Own the end-to-end production of content where our AOR is not resourced to support our brands with agile, quick-turn opportunistic content; support in creating the model of quick-turn content creation
- Lead the development and implementation of strategies to activate content across multiple channels. Drive engagement and conversion through innovative content distribution tactics.
- Maintain a consistent and compelling brand voice across all channels and content types.
- Lead cross-function work to collaborate with CMO colleagues including Product, Measurement, Social Listening and Media Strategists, to ensure cohesive messaging and branding consistency, and that content supports overall marketing / media and business goals.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of visual content and campaigns on above-brand sites like PfizerForAll.com.
- Utilize analytics tools to measure content effectiveness, derive insights, and adjust strategies to optimize engagement and conversion rates.
- Manage the content budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and ROI.
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to keep our content strategies ahead of the curve.
Basic Qualification
- Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 5 years of experience; OR a PhD with 1+ years of experience.
- 6+ years of experience either in-house or at the agency setting
- Successful track record designing and implementing high-impact content campaigns from conception through execution
- Project management skills coordinating multifaceted campaigns and initiatives
- Forward-thinking mindset with the creativity and vision to build innovative solutions for unmet needs
- Strong written communication skills
- Mastery in staying compliant with the complex legal and regulatory guidelines surrounding branded content
- Skilled at communicating compelling narratives and campaign visions
- Adept at persuading both internal and external stakeholders of the merits and potential business value of proposed ideas and strategies
- Strong relationship building skills and ability to navigate matrixed organizations
