Description:
The Strategic Account Representative sells company products and services via telephone, internet, and e-mail. Works in conjunction with Field Sales Representatives, Product Management, and Sales Management to increase customer penetration and sales opportunities. Success is measured by meeting defined sales objectives and performing all duties with a high ethical standard and exceeding all customer requirements.
RFMW is an electronic component distributor of RF and microwave products, within the TTI Family of Specialists. This is a remote position.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Sell products and services offered by RFMW. This includes, but is not limited to, product lines, quality, and value-added services. The sale is attained by building relationships and tailoring the sales approach to meet and inquire on the customers needs. This is measured through monthly sales reporting, quality objectives and regular management reviews.
Provide price and delivery quotes within customer timeline to customers within assigned geographic territory by working with the branch or corporate product manager and the manufacturers to get the most competitive pricing by utilizing communication by telephone and email. The Strategic Account Rep's success is measured by achieving year-over-year growth targets and booking the business at a profit margin in line with company targets.
Process the customer's order by entering it into the sales database for quote processing and delivery schedules. Requires eye for detail, proof reading for accuracy, and maintaining quality expectations. Failure to process and review in a timely manner can result to a loss of parts and lead time with factories. This is measured by your customers on time delivery and RMA rate.
Expand product knowledge by utilizing all resources including product literature, factory representatives, product managers, sales managers, and other sales representatives to be able to discuss product options with customers and sell RFMW's strengths.
Participate in the RFMW Total Quality process by following defined policies and procedures to maintain efficient sales cycle, following logical and systematic approaches, while the goal being to reduce sales errors and uphold quality to the highest level. This is measured by how many lines are shipped per salesperson and determined how many lines were on time and crossed checked for errors.
Responsible for Increasing spend within customer account base by capturing orders on designs supported at the OEM level, in addition to growth through gaining market share and selling complementary products, across the line card.
Provides management with information regarding sales, marketing techniques, new products, and market strategy by preparing forecast and activity reports on account territory.
Participates and attends sales calls with Global Account Director, to develop sales relationship and trust with the customer and RFMW. Participates in quarterly business reviews with top accounts, to maintain and grow strategic relationships. Increased sales are result of good relationship sales.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Degree from a four-year university with one to three years of sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Total Annual Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000/year. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
