Job Summary:
Work with a team of people focused on accurately forecasting the inventory (material) needs for our organization. Collaborate with warehouse and materials management as well as with business unit personnel to maintain adequate inventory levels to meet the needs of our business units. Coordinate, inventory strategy activities and inventory health metrics to improve accuracy, meet capital deployment goals, achieve cost savings, customer service & safety standards. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to enable inventory management. Identify and resolve in collaboration with relevant owner (e.g. engineering, operations, standards, warehouse, materials management, information technology), process improvements that would strengthen our forecasting outcomes

Essential Functions:
- Independently use resources like SAP, Excel, Tableau, and others to collect and interpret data.
- Analyze historical inventory data, new capital projects, and inventory demand patterns to develop accurate inventory forecasts.
- Develop and maintain complex weekly/monthly/yearly forecasting models, considering factors such as seasonality, supply chain trends, and project prioritization.
- Create and monitor key performance metrics for both demand planning and operations effectiveness.
- Document assumptions underlying the plan and highlight key changes.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data produced and results reported; accept accountability and work cohesively in a team environment that stresses attention to detail.
- Lead efforts to re-design processes and procedures demonstrating advanced analytical skills and creative solution planning.
- Perform financial and cost-benefit analyses using a wide variety of analytical tools and methods.
- Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to the demand planning process.
- Collaborate with Materials Management team to help establish material purchasing plans that support the inventory strategy, as well as working with stakeholders to align their expectations for Vendor Managed Inventory minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Support the Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) through various activities including but not limited to own assigned role, team member roles and setting up, maintaining, and providing a support for personnel, material, and equipment to Operational team or at EOP Staging Sites.
- Champion and institute continuous improvement initiatives.
- Attend various stakeholder meetings e.g., engineering, operations, standards, accounting as well as supplier meetings pertaining to materials, construction timelines, job-planning, and inventory on hand amounts.
- Effectively coach colleagues to competently apply continuous improvement methods and principles.
- Demonstrate excellent business acumen in communications, behavior, dependability and team work.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education Description:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or other related disciplines.
- In lieu of a degree extensive CNP experience may be considered.
Experience:
- Requires a minimum of two (2) years' experience with progressive experience and responsibilities.
- Three (3) years of experience formally/informally leading a team.
