POSITION SUMMARY

The Vice President, Veralto Enterprise System (VES) for Videojet Technologies is responsible for driving continuous improvement globally across the operating company. You will report into the President and will be a member of the L1 leadership team.

The role is responsible for promoting and leading implementation of the VES for the entire Operating Company (Opco) with focus in Operational Excellence, Innovation and Commercial. Our new leader is someone who will be results-driven with a proven ability to partner with President and their senior leaders to identify valuable problems, manage change, and drive impact using VES tools. The role will serve as a coach for senior leaders as well as for building out and sustaining the community of VES Leaders across the organization that are embedded in the business.

The role also has the responsibility of helping elevate the VES capability across the leadership team and in the organization and continuing the journey of continuous improvement culture which is a strategic advantage for Veralto and is part of our Core Behaviors.

VES Leadership
  • Establish close partnership with President drive targeted, sustainable improvement across the company ensuring the business has the ongoing capability to deliver on its strategy, Core Value drivers (CVDs) and business critical KPIs.
  • A key member of the L1 leadership team responsible for defining, developing, and leading the strategy design and overall implementation of VES Capability and VES Certification roadmap.
  • Aligned with President, take ownership of senior management Operating Review agendas and driving high quality and impactful senior operations and policy deployment (PD) reviews.
  • Responsible for leading and executing VES processes and tools through their work with associates and management - guiding, coaching, and providing resources as needed.
  • Champion using key VES fundamentals-daily management, standard work, and problem-solving.
  • Assist Veralto Enterprise System's Office (VESO) / Platform leadership in Policy Deployment workshop installs with linkage to the strategic plan and key breakthroughs.
  • Drive VES immersion and continued development for senior-level leaders.
  • Lead a VES organization that will directly provide formal and informal VES training and coaching. Mentor Business VESLs in applying VES best practices. Improve VES training and facilitation by pursuing certification in VES tools for self and others.
  • Consult with senior leaders about the pain points in their functions and determine how VES can be applied.


Build Capability / Deliver Results
  • VES Assessment:
    • Develop annual Operating Company (OpCo) improvement roadmap, aligned with the OpCo strategy, for VES Capability with a prioritized Action Plan.
    • Review Action Plan progress with President and senior leaders. Lead deployment and sustainment
  • Kaizen Funnel, Calendar, and Sustainment Bowler:
    • Ensure Kaizen requirements met - prework completed with the quality needed to set the team up for success, transform process within week, ensure sustainment of the change for long term impact
    • Include Shin, President, and any Kaizens critical to driving Opco KPIs and PD
    • Review during Operations reviews (and reviews deeper in the organization) to ensure resources are being deployed to the highest priority kaizens and that sustainment of the results is achieved
    • Cascade funnel process to all sites & functions
  • VES Certification Funnel w/ Bowler
    • Lead development of OpCo plan for type and quantity of certified practitioners/advanced certified practitioners (CP/ACP) and certified trainers/advanced certified trainers (CT/ACT) needed by location to be ''VES self-sustainable"
    • Lead process to ensure VES Certification Funnel progress is being met
    • Ensure CP/ACPs productive use of certifications
  • PD Matrix, Action Plans, Bowlers, PSPs
    • Act as process steward: facilitate setup workshops, reflections, etc.
    • Drive 'Productive Tension' during PD Meetings to encourage appropriate and sustainable use of VES, ensure ongoing cadence/rigor
    • Facilitates OpCo Strategy enablement process to ensure initiatives are funded, resourced and run with process rigor to achieve sustainable results
  • Go to Gemba to Audit existing processes and systems to assess and determine actions required for improvements.
  • Communicate and drive VES best practices across the business.
  • Lead the creation, improvement, and deployment of continuous improvement processes, best practices, and tools.


Qualifications

Education & Technical Background
  • Bachelor's degree required; preference for technical disciplines such as Engineering or Physical Sciences. Degrees in Business, Marketing, or Operations also considered.
  • Master's degree or MBA strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of quality and process improvement methodologies such as Toyota Production System, Six Sigma, and VES (Veralto Enterprise System).

Leadership & Strategy Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience deploying Lean and continuous improvement tools across multiple functional areas (e.g., Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain).
  • Substantial experience in a multinational senior leadership position with ideal background and experience in Industrial and Manufacturing businesses, experience in global companies producing products in a complex global environment.

Continuous Improvement & Technical Expertise
  • Significant practitioner experience in quality principles and technical tools (problem analysis, statistical tools, design of experiments, variation reduction, design for six sigma, control charts) and similar experience building a strategy and leading improvement efforts in a variety of functional areas such as Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain and for the overall business.
  • Hands-on, Gemba-based leader, comfortable engaging directly with frontline teams in operations, engineering, and R&D environments.
  • Experience leading implementation of Visual Project Management and other DBS/Lean visual systems.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategy by identifying gaps, analyzing root causes, implementing countermeasures, and leading change through influence.

Analytical, Communication & Collaboration Skills
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, statistical software, and visualization platforms.
  • Ability to synthesize business performance issues and communicate concise, executive-level updates and recommendations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Proven experience training and coaching others, building scalable learning models, and sustaining improvement behaviors.

Other Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to set goals, take initiative, and resolve complex business problems.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $229,000.00 - $279,000.00 USD per year.
