Summary

The Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis works as the head of the team and oversees the financial analysis generated within a team ensuring accuracy, relevance, and timeliness. This leadership role requires Senior Manager to provide guidance, support, and strategic direction to ensure the team achieves its objectives and contributes effectively to the organization's financial health and strategic goals.

Responsibilities
  • Trend Analysis & Forecasting
    • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the financial analysis team, setting clear objectives, and priorities aligned with the organization's strategic goals and objectives
    • Oversee the utilization of advanced analytics techniques to gather and analyze historical data from diverse operations systems and SAP, ensuring comprehensive trend analysis for accurate revenue, cost, and gross margin forecasts
    • Direct the production of insightful reports and presentations for Management group, synthesizing key findings, and providing actionable insights derived from analysis to support strategic decision-making processes
    • Provide in-depth analysis and cost analysis per business segment, identifying areas of opportunity and risk, and providing recommendations to optimization and improvement
    • Review Red Folder with strategic financial analysis to align financial strategies with the company's goals, enabling proactive decision-making on current business and new business
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the FP&A team, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and value-added insights
  • Budget Review, Control, and Analysis
    • Lead collaboration with team and department heads to develop comprehensive annual budgets that align precisely with the organization's strategic goals and objectives, ensuring financial resources are allocated optimally to drive business success
      • Control monthly, quarterly, and yearly budget, and oversee the monitoring of actual financial performance against budgeted figures, conducting detailed variance analysis to identify key drivers of variances
      • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives by providing financial expertise and insights, helping to shape the organization's long-term financial strategy and direction
  • Assign tasks within the team, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives, and providing guidance and support to ensure successful completion. Develop and present KPIs for the team, and oversee their achievement
    • Establish business financial management & strategy. Create various analysis templates and dashboards using advanced visualization tools; Develop visually compelling and informative dashboards to present key financial metrics, trends, and insights to management
    • Development, implement, and enforce company policies and SOP
    • Document policies, procedures, and workflow to assigned areas of responsibility

Compensation

$110,000-$125,000 Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Skills & Qualifications
  • MS Office proficiency skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, Power point) Required
  • Strong accounting knowledge and background
  • SAP, PowerBi, or other visualization tools proficiency skills
  • Problem solving and communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills needed

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 8 - 12 Years of Experience in Accounting/Finance Required
  • 10 - 15 Years of Experience in Accounting/Finance Preferred
  • CPA Preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
  • Possibility of domestic travel - 30%
