YOUR ROLE
The National CL Training Manager is responsible for creating and executing training strategies to support the technical understanding and development of our employees and drive business objectives within the Contract Logistics division in the United States. As the National CL Training manager, you will have the opportunity to shape the culture of our operations and make a meaningful impact on our organizational growth and success.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and execution of operational focused training content and programs to enable scalable solutions to drive a best-in-class employee and customer experience.
- Collaborate and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including operations, operational support, and subject matter experts, to identify and address skills gaps and development opportunities ensuring training materials align with operational needs.
- Drive innovation and creativity in training methods and techniques to enhance the learning experience for employees to ensure milestones are met, stakeholders are satisfied, and the desired business impact is achieved.
- Implement evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of the training programs for continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends and integrate relevant technical tools and platforms into training programs to enhance learning outcomes and efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a team of training professionals to ensure high-quality and consistent delivery of training programs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for employees of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on training and development initiatives.
- Adhere to and comply with all health & safety, quality, security, environmental, legal, and regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 5+ years of training/coaching/teaching experience.
- A degree or equivalent experience in instructional design, education, coaching, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven track record of assessing learning needs and developing solutions, resulting in improved individual and organizational performance.
- Strong business, leadership, planning and organizing skills; including the ability to provide innovative, strategic ideas to management, communicate value, gain approval, and implement effectively.
- Ability to effectively manage a dispersed team and prioritize work.
- Ability to work and deliver in changing environments, under limited guidance while adhering to specified deadlines.
- Ability to interpret and adjust to situations that involve competing priorities.
- Ability to involve and coordinate internal and external resources, as well as delegate and supervise
