Summary

The IT manager will be responsible for partnering with the business in analysis of process and information needs to clearly identify and document project requirements for technology solutions. This role will serve as a strategic partner between business clients, technical development staff, vendors and third-party administrators.

Compensation Range

$94,000- $105,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Responsibilities

• Communicate analytical insights and progress on implementation to internal stakeholders
  • Define the scope of a business requirement, decide the approach and produce the specification
  • Research production system issues as they arise and manage the process through to problem resolution
  • Accurately document, track and report on detailed implementation tasks to ensure that the business requirements for the solution
  • Defines interfaces among systems components to ensure interoperability
  • Initial trouble shooting and cause analysis in case of application system
  • New implementation and Modification of IT program/software. Perform validation and verification testing also
  • Develop and propose resolutions or alternative solutions for better information services
  • Develop and implement Application by using programming language (C#, Java, SQL, etc)
  • Monitor system failure & performance and properly resolve them in right time
  • Strongly involve in the planning and engineering of systems infrastructure
  • Conduct D/B or Application Tuning
• Collaboration with Internal Operation teams, Customers, Vendors, and 3rd party vendor
  • Setup, monitor, and troubleshoot transaction flow for EDI and API integrations
  • Train users for new or modified functionality
  • Create and maintain Dashboards and Power BI reports
  • Generate/update data requested by users
  • Develops and maintains system documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Create and deliver functional documentation for related applications that support business operations
• Support continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills: must be able to effectively convey and document designs and processes Required
• Excellent business analysis, test planning, activity planning skills Required
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies Required
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Java and Java EE Required
• Java, .NET, C#, Javascript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, DOM, Git/SVN Required
• DB Programming Experience (PL/SQL or T-SQL) Required
• Have a good understanding and extensive knowledge of Logistics industry concepts Required
• Familiarity with Network and GPS communication technologies Preferred

Education & Experience

• Bachelors Degree Required
• 6-9 Years of Experience in Information Technology Required
• 8-13 Years of experience in Information Technology Preferred

• Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
• Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
• Possibility of domestic/international travel - 5%
• Stand/walk
