What impact you'll make
As a member of the Supplier Quality Operations Team, you will provide strong and efficient technical support for the Supplier Quality Team and our processes while collaborating cross-functionally as the key Technical Representative for the Supplier Quality Team with a shared goal of strengthening our Issue Resolution and problem-solving strategy.
You will drive efforts to enable systemic improvements for the overall SQ NCR Process Management including root cause analyses (RCAs) to improve supplier performance by addressing top systemic and Customer related supplier issues in partnership with key stakeholders.
You will operate with a lean and problem-solving mindset and will strongly partner with the other Leaders within the SQ Team to further develop and promote Supplier Quality Excellence in our main activities including Issue Resolution, PFMEAs, DFMEAs, Qualifications, Audits, etc. to meet our key performance indicators, business metrics and priorities.

Pay Transparency
The base pay range for this position is $ 125,000.00 - $175,000.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This posting is expected to close on April 30, 2025, or thereafter.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.

What you'll do
- Support supplier quality organization and culture through Mentoring, Coaching and Training to develop team's technical capability and expertise
- Leverage facts and data for problem solving, driving Issue Resolution Management and Strategy including Containment, Root Cause Investigations (RCI), Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for the Supplier Quality team associated with Supplier Deviation Requests (SDRs), Customer and Factory Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Service Notices (SNs) for nonconformities caused by external suppliers.
- Lead resolution of complex, cross-functional quality issues associated with critical NCRs and RCAs and provide technical support and guidance to the team on RCIs, RCAs, Countermeasures, DFMEAs & PFMEAs, etc.
- This resolution includes taking the lead on the proper triage and ownership of Non-conformances (NCRs) and representing Supplier Quality in the various cross-functional discussions associated with NCR and RCA ownership.
- Participate in and facilitate kaizen events for systemic process and operational improvement
- Leverage the GE Vernova Way Behaviors, ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration, accountability and team work
What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience
- Significant years of experience in Engineering, Manufacturing /Supply Chain; preferably in power industry, with proficiency to understand technical procedures, drawings, specifications, and standards
- Advanced Experience in lean problem-solving tools including A3 or Problem Solving Report (PSR), 8D methodology
- Experience working within complex, multi-site, multi-region organizations with evidence of strong organizational, interpersonal and influential skills
- The SQ Ops Tech Leader will have several years of Engineering experience with advanced technical knowledge and understanding of our Gas Power products and components
- Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated experience in successfully leading and executing 8D RCAs, 3x5 Whys and Systemic Problem Solving with the ability to identify, explain and solve critical issues
- Experience with eSQA, ClearOrbit, PowerNow, PLM other Gas Power NCR tools
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead global programs, and to train, mentor and coach individuals and teams while remaining humble, collaborative and receptive to feedback
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate across all organizational levels, departments, functions and cultures
- Six Sigma or Lean certification/working knowledge of Lean
- Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills, capable of influencing a large team
