Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures that align with Beacon Mobility's goals and objectives.
Oversee all procurement activities, including sourcing, contracting, purchasing, and supplier management.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal customers.
Monitor procurement performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions to optimize procurement processes.
Implement and maintain procurement related technology systems, tools, and processes in collaboration with our IT and PMO groups.
Work with our internal stakeholders to develop , manage and report on procurement budgets and cost savings targets.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new procurement techniques.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
10+ years of experience in direct and indirect procurement, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
Experience developing and implementing procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience working with procurement-related technology systems, tools, and processes.
Knowledge of regulatory and ethical procurement requirements.
Experience in transportation and logistics is important.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
