We are looking for a Principal, Labor Communications to lead communications and campaign efforts that support our Last Mile delivery network.

We are looking for a high-judgment and self-motivated communicator who has extensive experience working in public policy or employee relations. This individual will collaborate closely with Legal, Employee Relations, Public Relations, and agency partners that focus on informing and engaging a large, extended workforce. You are known for high attention to detail particularly when developing communications that are compliant with legal and regulatory guidance. You will thrive in ambiguity and denounce the status quo, developing new and innovative ways to communicate, improving existing channels, and influencing and launching new methodologies.

This role can be based in Nashville, TN, Austin, TX or Seattle/Bellevue, WA.

Key job responsibilities

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
\tDevelop a strategy and execute on evergreen, educational materials, testimonials, and multi-media elements (e.g., infographics, video) to foster positive labor relations.
\tCollaborate with research teams to facilitate focus groups and message testing to inject voice of the customer qualitative and quantitative data into our channel and content strategies
\tPartner with Employee Relations and Public Relations to develop localized communications plans that address customer pain points
\tLook around corners to identify key moments in time around which to build campaigns that meets individuals where they are in their journey delivering on behalf of Amazon
\tMonitor and measure the effectiveness of communications and campaigns and report out on them to leaders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working cross-functionally with partner teams to drive adoption and usage of brand assets and messaging

- Experience in strategic marketing management and market analysis and demonstrated ability to build and execute a strategy with clear goals and objectives to align to business and service objectives, and support portfolio objectives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
