The Medical Science Liaison will play a critical role within the Chief Medical Office organization, responsible for establishing and maintaining credible relationships with key medical thought leaders and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), serving as an essential link between Philips Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics (AM&D) business unit's Medical Office and HCP's.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

Job Description
The Medical Science Liaison will play a critical role within the Chief Medical Office organization, responsible for establishing and maintaining credible relationships with key medical thought leaders and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), serving as an essential link between Philips Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics (AM&D) business unit's Medical Office and HCP's.
Your role:
- Proactively and reactively engages in discussions around safety of device/system utilization as part of post market surveillance and formally shares insights with internal stakeholders to best inform safety assessment.
- Engages in, maintains and cultivates fair, objective scientific exchanges/credible relationships with key medical thought leaders, HCPs, and scientific professionals, ensuring ethical conduct and integrity in all scientific engagements.
- Creates and delivers credible scientific presentations on Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics (AM&D) products, as well as related published literature ensuring stakeholders such as medical thought leaders have a clear understanding of how the company's evidence fits within clinical practice.
- Aligns with Medical Office Leadership to implement the field medical strategy and leads the management of medical advisory boards, including selection of advisors, content development, and overall strategic planning with cross-functional team members, as well as medical congress plans for the business unit's medical office, including brief/debrief documents.
- Collaborates with Medical Affairs and Clinical Development teams to support the development and execution of clinical trials and research initiatives, ensuring alignment with scientific objectives. Facilitates investigator-initiated studies (IIS), including study feasibility assessments, and collaboration with investigators, facilitating scientific research with the Clinical Development team.
- Demonstrates proficiency in topics beyond scientific exchange such as value / cost of care discussions, hospitalizations, risk of progression, and adverse events management. Responds to on and off-label questions from healthcare professionals, providing accurate and balanced scientific responses, fostering trust and credibility.
You're the right fit if:
- You've acquired a minimum of 7+ years' experience in Clinical Research/Medical Affairs within FDA regulated medical device industry clinical/product environments, with a focus on Cardiac Monitoring/Cardiovascular products and solutions required.
- You have demonstrated knowledge and expertise in Clinical Research/Analysis, Study Management and Medical Affairs, with prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison preferred.
- You have knowledge in product recalls, remediation, warning letters, adverse events- preferred.
- You're able to effectively manage, communicate, influence and cultivate relationships with Internal/External Stakeholders, key medical thought leaders, HCPs, and scientific professionals at all levels. You're highly skilled in Medical Writing, Technical Presentations/Communications Development, Research/Data Analysis & Interpretation
- You have a minimum of a Master's Degree (Required) in a Medical/Life Science discipline, Nursing or other comparable discipline. Advanced Clinical/ Science Degree such as PharmD, MD, PhD, DNP desired.

Philips Transparency Details:
- The pay range for this position in San Diego, CA is $144,000 to $231,000.
- The pay range for this position in Malvern, PA is $129,000 to $207,000.
