Job Summary: TheLow Voltage Estimator is responsible for estimating costs for both labor and materials for new construction, tenant improvement, and retrofit of fire, access control, video, AV, and structured cable incommercial buildings. They are responsible for promoting and selling thesystems for each application, while providing excellent customer service and completing turnovers in a timely manner.
Pay Range: $77,000-$90,000

Pay Range: $77,000-$90,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Estimate/Quote/Closelow voltage installation projects.
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop effective sales strategies and marketing initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers regarding systems, equipment, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as designers, project managers and foreman, to ensure smooth turnover and execution of projects.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses for management review.
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance against targets and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred but not required
- NICET Certification a Plus But Not Required.
- Must have a minimum of 2years of experience estimating and quotinglow voltage systems.
- Must have thorough understanding of NFPA and other industry regulations.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, MS Office Suite, and other sales tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Great customer service skills.
- Ability to effectively present and communicate technical information to clients.
- Must have good teamwork capabilities.
- Must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
