We are seeking a Senior AV Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and support for all our state-of-the-art corporate audio-visual solutions and their seamless integration within our MS O365 environment. This role will own the responsible for ensuring seamless AV functionality across all corporate offices, boardrooms, large conference and L&D training spaces. Sr. AV Engineer will also serve as a subject matter expert for digital signage ecosystem both in our corporate offices and well as throughout our geographically distributed service provider ecosystem. The incoming Sr. engineer will collaborate closely with end-user support, executive support, filed support, L&D and O365 teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implementation, and support modern conference room solutions leveraging Microsoft Teams Rooms and other collaboration technologies. Ensure AV systems are fully integrated within the O365 ecosystem, supporting seamless scheduling and virtual experiences.
  • Develop and maintain standardized AV room configurations for all use cases including mid-size conference rooms, large boardrooms, town hall spaces and huddle rooms.
  • Work with various tech teams, facilities, and third-party vendors to ensure AV solutions are deployed efficiently and meet corporate standards.
  • Provide troubleshooting and support for AV-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and a premium end-user experience.
  • Oversee the design, deployment, and ongoing support of enterprise-wide video wall and digital signage solutions.
  • Manage and configure digital signage platforms, ensuring content management is streamlined and meets corporate communication needs. Provide training for end-users as needed.
  • Maintain and update AV and digital signage systems, including firmware updates, security patches, and performance optimizations.
  • Partner with IT infrastructure, networking, and endpoint teams to optimize AV solutions for scalability, security, and performance.
  • Stay up to date with emerging AV technologies and best practices, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of modern workplace collaboration.
  • Help train and support end-users, executive teams, and IT staff on AV system functionality and best practices. Develop standard operational procedures and end-user how-to guides.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of AV infrastructure, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.


Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting AV solutions in a large enterprise environment. 2+ years in a senior or lead AV specialist or engineer role.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Teams Rooms (primary focus) and strong experience with Zoom and Google Meet ecosystems.
  • Strong experience with majority of the following professional AV and digital signage vendor systems: Crestron; Logitech; Aver; Biamp; Planar; Mersive; Epiphan; Polycom; DTEN; BrightSign; Appsapce; BlackMagic; Samsung; LG; DynaScan; LabGrueppen; QSYS;
  • Strong understanding of networking principles related to AV over IP, QoS, VLANs.
  • Proficiency with AV troubleshooting tools, signal flow analysis, and remote monitoring solutions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Intune, and Azure AD integration for AV systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and a customer-first mindset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with executives, IT staff, and external vendors.
  • Professional certifications are a plus but not strictly required.


*This role is onsite 5 days/week in our Chicago office (Fulton Market District)
