Platform Engineering focuses on Cloud Platforms and Business Process Automation. The Common Components unit delivers essential software engineering services, and our OpenText Cybersecurity solutions, for both SMBs and Enterprises, offer protection against cybersecurity threats.

As a Lead Software Developer, you will:
Provide strong leadership for the team, wielding technical and business influence beyond team boundaries.
Drive multi-team initiatives spanning diverse domains, consistently delivering value that extends beyond the immediate team.
Quickly grasp the business context to enhance customer value significantly.
Make timely decisions, prioritizing customer trust over expediency, and leverage input to determine optimal technical solutions.
Identify and course-correct when the current path does not meaningfully serve customer needs, playing a key role in setting longer-term business strategy.
Lead in setting the quality standards for the team's technical work, from code to software designs, while raising the skill level of less experienced team members.
Possess 8-12 years of previous professional experience.

What you need to Succeed:
- MS or PhD in CS or related field with 7+ years of enterprise software development experience using Microsoft Development Environment and tools.
- Expert in client-side development with C#, WPF, Angular, and proficient in .NET Framework, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
- Strong experience with Windows architecture, services, Web API, multithreading, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
- Deep knowledge of data structures, object-oriented principles, design patterns, and debugging complex technical issues.
- Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI tools like GitLab.
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
