We're on the hunt for an experienced Value Stream professional to lead transformative programs and projects within our Oxygen and Passenger Service Units business in Lenexa, KS. In this pivotal, individual contributor role, you'll be at the forefront, driving innovation as the primary customer liaison and leading high-impact Integrated Program Teams (IPTs) on large-scale, complex programs. You'll be the problem-solver of choice, recommending bold solutions to tough challenges, delivering real-time progress updates, and playing a key role in negotiating contracts that drive success.

What You Will Do:
  • Leads risk and opportunity management for programs in production
  • Participates in coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operational budgets, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance and to protect the organization's interests
  • Leads large programs to support the development of program plans, schedules, and budgets for programs under his/her responsibility
  • Establishes key performance indicators and directs work to achieve these targets
  • Analyzes data and monitors programs to ensure adherence to cost, schedule and technical specifications
  • Maintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the program(s) to Senior Leadership and Customers
  • Implements continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality, specifically utilizing CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence), lean, or six sigma methodology
  • Identifies and addresses program problems and recommends resolutions to ensure the successful performance of programs in production including field service safety issues, customer satisfaction issues, obsolescence, work transfers, improvements for capacity, and supplier requests
  • Leads program work with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with the customer program objectives supporting development phase and then owning the production phase
  • Directs program phases from start of production through completion (sunsetting) of program
  • Interfaces with customers for program requirements to ensure successful completion
  • Manages the contract lifecycle, cost, schedule and performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs


Qualifications Your Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • Manufacturing industry experience

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Engineering degree or technical background
  • Experience with manufacturing operations and supply chain
  • PMP Certification

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
