Under the direction Manager, IT Business Services, the Sr. IT Business Services Analyst will provide operational, product, and technology services for the assigned business units and systems. rives to maximize the efficiency of the enterprise through the application of technology by partnering with assigned business units. Mentors other Business Services Analysts within the team and is the technical lead on large projects related to assigned business units and systems. Is the subject matter expert on a number of the core systems assigned to the role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Leads and directs high-priority complex projects for assigned business units, which often requires considerable resources and high levels of functional integration and interaction with business sponsors.
2. Conducts thorough analysis of business processes, gathers and documents requirements using methods such as workshop facilitation, document analysis, onsite walkthroughs, use case creation, scenario modeling, and task/workflow analysis.
3. Engages with project teams and vendors to implement full-stack solutions and provides ongoing assurance of technology solutions through discovery.
4. Regularly assesses and documents system capabilities, ensuring alignment with business needs. Engages in direct communication with vendors and system specialists, both internal and external, to facilitate system application and integration.
5. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to understand program needs, strategic direction, and ensure initiative delivery, and able to lead high level meetings with senior business leaders.
6. Researches, reviews, and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
7. Performs on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis to support essential enterprise clients and emergencies outside of business hours.
8. Establishes technical leadership documentation and practices for junior teammates and technical support staff to guide in the mentorship and technical aptitude of others.
9. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

EDUCATIONAL, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field is required.
- Minimum six (6) years' experience in Information Technology in the Gaming Industry with either a Casino Operator or Gaming Vendor required.
- Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)
- Extensive experience with Gaming and Hospitality Systems, including, but not limited to, Casino Management Systems, Point of Sale Systems, Property Management Systems, Promotional/Marketing Systems, and other industry-specific systems required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the enterprise's core business process and operations.
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development.
- Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
- Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Exceptional analytical and statistical skills with the ability to apply them to systems issues and products as required.
- Clear understanding of product management and market placement.
- Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources.
- Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts.
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS
- At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
- Role does not require a driver's license or insurance.
