Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Nebraska or Iowa preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil or municipal design
• Proven background in industrial and infrastructure projects
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
• Business acumen in project planning and management is preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with OpenRoads/InRoads/MicroStation for DOT or City projects, or Civil 3D/AutoCAD for general civil work

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with key clients to define project requirements, establish design criteria, and communicate priorities to the project team.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and estimates.
• Oversee the production of construction documents with a team of skilled professionals.
• Conduct detailed project reviews at various design stages.
• Coordinate design efforts with public and private stakeholders.
• Provide Construction Administration services, including reviewing submittals/shop drawings, change order requests, and addressing field inquiries.

Project Focus:

• Public sector infrastructure projects, including city streets, sanitary sewers, water mains, highways, utilities, grading, drainage, and storm sewer projects.
• Involvement in site development (parking lots, drainage areas, landscaping) and roadway planning (road widening, NDOT permits).
• Industrial land development projects (e.g., factory sites, plants), excluding commercial and residential work.

Location: Council Bluffs, IA, and Omaha, NE

Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 per year, with a generous bonus program
Shift & Hours: Monday- Friday 8 AM- 5 PM
