Vice President, IT Strategy, Cloud Transformation & Office of the CIO

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President to lead our Technology Strategy & Cloud Transformation efforts while managing the office of the CIO. This pivotal role will oversee developing the technology strategy and roadmap to drive the strategic objectives of the company; Develop & Implement a comprehensive cloud strategy, facilitate the execution of digital transformation initiatives, and support the CIO in driving organizational objectives. Additionally, the VP will manage the vendor management office, project management office, Enterprise Architecture, Dev Ops, Test CoE and Training of the associates

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in both Application development & Infrastructure Management including cloud technologies, a strategic mindset, and the ability to effectively collaborate with senior leadership, business units, and technology teams to implement large-scale transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Strategy & Roadmap

• Working with ITCI Leadership & Business Executives develop the Application Strategy for the entire company in alignment with the strategic business objectives.
• Deep understanding of the emerging technology and ability to translate that to actionable business enablers
• Develop technology roadmap through right architecture & tools that will enable the success of transformation initiatives
• Collaborate closely with business leaders, technology leaders, and external partners to ensure effective technology roadmap is developed

Cloud Transformation Leadership

• Lead the organization's cloud transformation journey, including the development and execution of the cloud strategy across infrastructure, applications, and services.
• Select & negotiate with hyper-scalers for implementing cloud infrastructure for Digital Health & Digital Enterprise
• Collaborate with technology and business teams to identify and implement cloud solutions that enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
• Drive the migration of legacy systems to cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
• Establish and maintain cloud governance frameworks, best practices, and compliance standards across the organization.

Chief of Staff to the CIO:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CIO, providing strategic guidance and insights on key technology initiatives and organizational priorities.
• Ensure alignment between the CIO's office and broader business objectives, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across teams.
• Lead key initiatives and projects on behalf of the CIO, ensuring delivery against timelines, goals, and budgets.
• Support the CIO in managing executive communication, board-level updates, and technology-related decision-making
• Managing the Organizational business & financial objectives

Project Management, Vendor Management & Technology Leadership:

• Oversee the project management office (PMO), ensuring effective planning, execution, and delivery of critical technology projects.
• Establish & drive project management best practices, methodologies, tools and governance to drive high-performance teams.
• Lead Vendor Management Office to drive successful partnerships with the large software and service provider portfolio
• Provide leadership for Enterprise Architecture, Devops and Test COE
• Drive Technology upskilling for associates

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (20+ years) in senior leadership roles
• Experience in IT strategy, cloud transformation, and supporting the management of overall IT organization
• Demonstrated success in managing large, cross-functional teams and driving complex cloud based custom application development
• Experience in implementing major packaged software applications
• Firsthand experience running a data center and managing all aspects of Infrastructure for a large enterprise
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), infrastructure modernization, and digital transformation.
• Experience in Cybersecurity for Infrastructure & Cloud
• Experience working closely with C-suite executives, especially in a Chief of Staff capacity for CIO
• Exceptional leadership skills and experience managing large teams, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience managing relationships with large vendors and running a vendor management office
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering successful technology projects on time and within budget.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution, able to balance both high-level vision and operational detail.
• Advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
