About You
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Electrical Prefabrication to lead our prefabrication operations with full P&L responsibility. This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive efficiency, maximize profitability, and scale operations in alignment with the company's performance-based culture. The ideal candidate is an expert in electrical prefabrication, lean manufacturing, and operational management, with a strong ability to lead high-performing teams and optimize financial performance.

Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & P&L Management
- Own and manage the profit and loss for the electrical prefabrication division, ensuring revenue growth and cost efficiency.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance operational performance and profitability.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline workflows and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align prefabrication goals with overall company objectives.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee the design, production, and delivery of prefabricated electrical assemblies, ensuring high quality and efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce cycle times, and improve margins.
- Manage supply chain, procurement, and inventory to optimize costs and material availability.
- Implement KPIs and performance metrics to track and improve operational effectiveness.
Team Leadership & Culture Development
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and results.
- Set clear performance expectations and implement incentive-based structures aligned with company goals.
- Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all industry regulations and best practices
Collaboration & Innovation
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams from internal Kelso Electrical Opco's and External clients to ensure seamless integration of prefabrication into projects.
- Identify and adopt new technologies and automation to enhance production capabilities.
- Drive innovation in prefabrication design, materials, and processes to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in electrical prefabrication, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Proven success in a P&L leadership role with responsibility for revenue, cost control, and profitability.
- Strong background in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and supply chain management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performance teams in a results-driven environment.
- Deep understanding of electrical systems, prefabrication methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with ERP systems, project management software, and data-driven performance tracking.
