Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with F5 Engineering and Operations experience. with multiple F5 solutions in an enterprise environment. Must have experience in data networking, working with application development teams and communicating effectively with various departments and technical skill sets within an organization. A strong awareness of Security and data traffic flow control is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Expertise in F5 architecture, including design, implementation, and management of complex network environments.
  • Hands-on experience with various F5 BigIP hardware, including Viprion, I-Series and R-Series.
  • Design and administer F5 LTM including CLI commands and Route Domains.
  • Experience with designing and implementing redundant DNS with F5 GTM for a multiple active Data Center environment.
  • Creating and administering F5 iRules.
  • Hands-on experience with deployment using F5 BIGIQ Management and Ansible Playbooks.
  • Hands on knowledge of TCP/IP and UNIX/LINUX variants.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of network devices (routers, switches, etc.),
  • Ability to read packet captures for troubleshooting of data traffic flow.
  • Knowledge of DNS configurations for both the Internet and Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Fundamental knowledge of encryption to include HTTPS in a reverse and forward proxy environment.
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Python, PERL, BASH, etc.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to identify root causes of issues and provide solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, both oral and written, with the ability to articulate and educate others about complex technology with business acumen.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience with F5 Architecture and experience with multiple Partitions
  • 5+ years of experience with F5 BigIP Appliances
  • 5+ years of experience with designing and implementing redundant DNS with F5 Global Traffic Manager


Preferences:
  • Experience with reading TCP/IP Packet Captures and Wireshark
  • Experience with Ansible Automation
  • F5 Professional Certifications 201/301 ADMIN desirable.

Pay Range:
$114,225-$190,375/year
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
