Job Description: Selectek is seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in developing and delivering custom engineered products. The Engineering Manager will play a key role in managing the engineering process, fostering customer relationships, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of our engineering output.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead a team of engineering professionals in the design and development of custom engineered products.
• Manage and maintain an ISO 9001 certified engineering change process to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their current and future needs and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering staff, serving as a knowledge resource and escalation point for technical issues.
• Establish and maintain reporting tools to monitor and optimize the quality and quantity of team output.
• Oversee designs based on interpretation of IEEE specifications, customer requirements, and acceptable manufacturing processes.
• Review or develop bill-of-materials to meet customer product requirements and assist in business planning.
• Continuously improve engineering processes and workflows to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering efforts with other departments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of product design experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, 3D CAD, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with both internal teams and external customers.
• Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills, with a track record of effectively managing engineering projects and teams.
• Excellent time management and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to driving positive change within the engineering department.

Salary Range:

• $120,000- $150,000

Shift and Hours:

• Monday- Friday
• 8 AM- 5 PM
