Job Summary
The Senior Engineer will provide facilities engineering support to the asset team. The role will focus on engineering support to execute scope planning, technical evaluation, preliminary economic analysis, construction, and commissioning of small- to large-scale projects. This will include, but is not limited to, production tank batteries, facility automation, SWD facilities, produced water gathering systems, gas gathering systems, oil gathering systems, and EOR compression.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, budget, and schedule facility-related construction activities to meet the requirements of the development program.
- Project management of planning, design, procurement, and construction-related activities for production, disposal, and pipeline facilities, such as production tank batteries, saltwater disposal (SWD) facilities, and gathering pipeline systems.
- Process engineering design for production, disposal, and pipeline facilities.
- Engineering design of facility piping systems and equipment, including but not limited to tanks, pumps, compressors, separators, fired vessels, relief valves, control valves, and instrumentation systems.
- Generate and/or review engineering documents such as PFDs, P&IDs, Site and Equipment
- Ensure construction compliance and consistency with Continental Resources' design and construction documents.
- Planning and management for safe project execution during construction and commissioning.
- Prepare operating guidelines for facility operations.
- Develop cost estimates and prepare AFEs for facility projects.
- Review all expenditures for facilities and/or infrastructure within a specified area.
- Troubleshoot existing processes and propose optimizations/improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience designing chemical process systems and/or managing the execution of engineering projects.
- Facilities or pipeline construction and/or experience.
- Proficiency in hydraulic analysis, equipment sizing/design, and process system design.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- An acceptable pre-employment background screen and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.
- Experience with industry codes and standards, including:
- ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8
- API RP 14C, 14E, 500
- Experience with process simulation software (ProMax and/or Aspen HYSYS).
- Experience with hydraulic modeling software (Pipesim and/or Synergi).
- Proficient in Excel and VBA.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting, up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
