OVERVIEW
Alpine Investors is seeking a Sourcing Analyst to join its deal originations team. This dynamic role provides broad exposure to Alpine's investments in software and services, offering the opportunity to develop investing judgment while shaping strategy in high-growth markets. Reporting to Lindsey Dale, the analyst will (i) build and maintain relationships with intermediaries, founders/business owners, and CEOs (ii) evaluate potential investment opportunities, and (iii) work alongside our investing team and portfolio leaders on new deals and markets.

WHAT WE OFFER
JOB EXPECTATIONS
COMPENSATION
The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $120,000-140,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Reporting to Lindsey Dale, the analyst will (i) build and maintain relationships with intermediaries, founders/business owners, and CEOs (ii) evaluate potential investment opportunities, and (iii) work alongside our investing team and portfolio leaders on new deals and markets.
As a Sourcing Analyst, you will:
- Build and nurture relationships with intermediaries, founders, business owners, and CEOs.
- Identify and engage new intermediaries to expand Alpine's network.
- Develop knowledge on and discuss Alpine's investment approach and criteria, portfolio companies, recently hired CEOs, and market trends.
- Generate new investment opportunities (both platforms and add-ons).
- Assess investment opportunities and collaborate with the investing team on qualified, high-potential deals.
- Manage a pipeline of potential investments across investment theses.
WHO YOU ARE
We're looking for a highly motivated, relationship-driven individual with a passion for PE. You should bring:
- 1-3+ years of professional experience with relevant responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree with a track record of strong academic performance and interest in business/finance
- Exceptional communication skills-both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- A curious mindset and a drive to learn, grow, and incorporate feedback.
- A positive attitude and relationship-oriented approach to networking and deal sourcing.
- An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance team environment.
- A positive, humble attitude that reflects Alpine's core values and contributes to a team-oriented culture.
