Key responsibilities:
- Develop and manage engineering projects in collaboration with various departments, focusing on analysis, planning, design, technical aspects, costs, and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise and assign duties to project support staff, including contractors, consultants, and internal personnel, to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Lead and coordinate with external firms such as Architectural & Engineering, Design, Construction, Testing, and Consulting.
- Interact with regulatory agents and clients during inspections and audits, ensuring compliance and addressing any issues.
- Maintain control over site drawings, including version control, as-built, record set, general layout, utility, and HVAC, in both hard copy and electronic form.
- Write, review, and approve Project Plans, User Requirements Specifications, Change Controls, SOPs, specifications, and other necessary documents.
- Recommend, specify, approve, and order equipment, including setup and qualification. Assist in developing and performing commissioning/verification/qualification protocols.
- Participate in project development and scheduling activities, collaborating with relevant collaborators and departments.
- Manage CAPEX project budgets with cost forecasting, tracking, and control, providing input for budgeting department expenses and tracking approvals.
- Communicate technical information clearly in English.
- Align with all regulatory requirements and guidelines, adhering to Safety and Sustainability standards and advocating for contractor safety.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in engineering project management.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external collaborators.
- Outstanding interpersonal and project management skills.
- Technical proficiency in managing site drawings and documentation.
- Experience with CAPEX budgeting and cost control.
- Dedication to safety and sustainability in engineering practices.
