Summary

The Manager - Logistics & Warehouse position will provide leadership for the Distribution Center and is directly responsible for turn key warehouse and transportation solutions. The incumbent will have and maintain high level interface directly with customers on-site on a regular basis, develop distribution and logistics solutions that can reduce costs, improve service levels, and have the ability to build strong relationships to drive the business.

Responsibilities
  • Warehouse & Logistics Operations
    • Interface directly with the customer to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
    • Strategic operational planning and execution for the operation
    • Identify and/or solve operational issues with the account(s) by implementing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives, to strengthen team unity, goals, productivity and results
    • Review, address, supervise, develop and manage performance for contractor and maintain a positive relations environment at assigned account(s)
    • Inventory Management
      • Maintaining accurate inventory data
      • Establish and maintain quantitative metrics, guidances, and standards by which the com
    • Inbound and Outbound Shipment Management
      • Own, contract and manage the relationships with subset of logistics service providers
      • Conduct RFX events and negotiate supplier/ partner contracts and service agreements
      • Coordinate and follow up on daily Inbound and outbound shipment till delivered
  • Manage and Monitor the Profit and Loss Statements Based on the Complexity and Scope of the Organization
    • Supervise all A/R and A/P billing process within facility
  • Site Safety Management
    • Maintain a safe and clean work environments
    • Continuous improvements of warehouse operation
  • Other Duties as Assigned
    • Maintain open and effective communications within the work group(s) and with other work groups within the organization
    • Support W&D Business Development, site selection, software implementation, layout design, etc
    • W/H Equipment management and maintenance
    • W/H supply purchase and inventory follow up

Compensation

$94,000- $105,000 Per Year ( Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Skills & Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Korean are required, due to heavy communication involved
  • Strong background and experience in WMS, TMS, ERP
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
  • Strong organization, analytical, and computer skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and as member of a team

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 7 - 10 Years of Experience in Warehouse / Inventory Management, Freight Forwarding, Transportation Management
  • 1 - 3 Years of Supervisory Experience Required
  • Valid Driver's License Required
  • APICS Certification Preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
