What You'll Do
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand their business requirements and integration needs to design scalable solutions for their Retail Wireless enterprise
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with clients to gather requirements and present solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Develop customized integration architecture blueprints tailored to client needs
- Document current state processes and design future state workflows (including happy paths, non-happy paths, and error scenarios)
- Design microservices composition and data models/structures that fit within existing enterprise architecture (L1-L4 details)
- Create detailed technical specifications, including message schemas, data mappings, and API designs
- Transition documented solutions to development teams for implementation - support development cycle with design clarifications where needed
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship to client project teams
- Assist clients in optimizing and maintaining their integration solutions
- Proactively escalate risks and issues to project and client teams
- Provide support for any system-level questions
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in integration architecture and solution design
- Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication/presentation skills (solutions to be documented primarily in Lucid Chart)
- Strong understanding of and ability to articulate integration patterns and leading best-practices
- Strong understanding of API management, RESTful and SOAP web services, and message queuing
- Strong understanding of cloud services and concepts (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Experience working across multiple data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV
- Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns, enterprise service buses (ESBs) and/or service-oriented architectures (SOA)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
Preferred Expertise:
- Telecom industry experience is a plus, but not critical
- Proficiency with integration platforms and middleware (e.g., Boomi, Workato, MuleSoft, Informatica, AWS, Microsoft Azure Integration Services, Solace, APIGEE).
- Background and/or degree in computer science
- Proficiency or familiarity with Python or Java
